www.starguitar.co.uk  founder, musical and company director Mike Jordan LLCM (TD) RGT GRAD has been playing and teaching guitar professionally since 1976. He has performed with some of the biggest names in the industry such as SIR ELTON JOHN, SIR BOB GELDOF, TINA TURNER, THIN LIZZY, NOEL REDDING (JIMI HENDRIX TRIO,) soul legend ALEXANDER O’NEIL etc. He has even had the privilege to meet and perform in front of the BEATLES.Mike is a veteran of over 5,000 live performances to date across the globe. He is a graduate of the London College of Music and The Registry of Guitar Tutors and has taught many thousands of students during an extensive and prolific career . He is also an accomplished keyboard player and vocalist. Mike is the founder and director of the Entertainment co-operative which has provided work for several thousand artistes since 1985. He is also a published author and a national broadcast orator.

Rockademy Principal bass player Mr Robert Sigston LLCM TD RGT GRAD is also a graduate of the London College of Music and the Registry of Guitar Tutors. He is an active, talented player/vocalist with international experience. He also works prolifically for regional education authorities as a bass and guitar tutor and is an RGT examiner. Rockademy Principal drummer Mr Ian Turner has been a professional player and teacher for over twenty years in a diverse career that has seen him perform in military, Jazz, Rock and Indie bands. He majors on drums and percussion but is multi-talented and plays several instruments and sings. He is qualified to grade 8 on piano and has a diploma in modern studio recording techniques and taught the subject for many years, along with composition, at Peterborough regional College. Ian has appeared with many artistes, including soul legend ALEXANDER O’NEIL.

Ian Parker – Keyboards / Vocals – DRSAM As well as being one of the nicest people you can meet, Ian is also one of the most talented. Currently a full-time member of the world famous HOLLIES, he has also toured and performed with artistes such as CHUCK BERRY, ELKIE BROOKS, JOAN ARMATRADING, TOMROBINSON, THE THREE DEGREES, THE DRIFTERS, KILLING JOKE etc. Ian has played on 8 albums of GRAMMY AWARDWINNERS CLANNAD. He also a graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of music and drama. Ian can be added to the ‘Premier’ concert / workshop by special arrangement adding a wider appeal and sound palette thus catering for those who wish to pursue the more formal instrument with its broader career opportunities.

Graeme Turner – Saxophone – B ED MUS Graeme’s list of credits is endless. He started with the GLEN MILLER YOUTH ORCHESTRA progressing through the NATIONAL YOUTH JAZZ ORCHESTRA and has since played with some of the music industry’s greatest stars such as LED ZEPPELIN’S ROBERT PLANT, JEFF BECK, DAVID ESSEX, SUZI QUATRO, ALISON MOYET, DR FEELGOOD, EDWIN STARR, THE FOUR TOPS, MATT BIANCO and his own personal hero JUNIOR WALKER AND THE ALL STARS. His lyrical, powerful sax lines feature on many a recording be it records, films or commercials. Graeme had a number one hit in Australia and South Africa in 2002 with his dance cover of ‘Sugar Man’. He is an active qualified teacher.

Tony Ladkins – Saxophone LRSM Tony is an ex-member of the ‘JBs,’ the band of the undisputed global King of Soul – the legendaryMR JAMES BROWN. He is a player of the highest standard and his exciting stage presence is matched only by his elaborate, inspirational solos. He holds a degree from the Royal School of Music.

Janice Hoyte – Vocalist The delightful and soulful Janice is a true Soul-Diva and she is currently appearing around the globe with megastars ‘BONEYM’ and the ubiquitous JOOLS HOLLAND. She has performed with a huge array of superstars including BILL WYMAN (THE ROLLING STONES), PETE TOWNSHEND (THE WHO), TOM JONES, DAVE STEWART (EURYTHMICS), JOCELYN BROWN, MICA PARIS – the list goes on and on. Janice graces the Rockademy stage with charm and consummate professionalism.

Tammy Choat – Vocalist Tammy has worked prolifically as a professional vocalist since 1992. She is currently a member of EUROVISION SONG CONTEST WINNERS BUCKS FIZZ. She adds talent, charm and glamour to the proceedings.

Terry Gregory – Bass – M MUS PGCTL FHEA Terry is one of the best-known exponents of the bass guitar in the UK today. He is widely known for his column in ‘Guitarist’ magazine and has worked with a number of truly international superstars from GENESIS guitarist STEVE HACKET, to virtuoso Jazz guitarist MARTIN TAYLOR and the famous violinist STEPHAN GAPPELLI to name but a diverse few. He is currently the Head of Bass at the Institute of ContemporaryMusic Performance in London and has a master’s degree from the London College of Music, a post-grade certificate in teaching and learning and is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Phil Ball – Sound engineer NOCN Phil has been a professional, qualified sound engineer since 1989 working both on stage and in the studio. He has an NOCN level three qualification with distinction and teaches sound technology in schools and colleges and is a consultant to the trade. He has worked with numerous artistes and producers including THE SHADOWS, WOMACK AND WOMACK, TOM ROBINSON, D-REAM, THE PRODIGY, BOB LAMB (UB40) and many others.
